Após alguns meses de brainstorm, consegui entender como deveria ser conduzida essa capa. As ilustrações minimalistas que contam pedaços das histórias com um estilo gráfico flat. Traduz do livro sua essência fluida e interessante.
Pensar nos quadrados como passagens de tempo, foi a virada de chave para que eu conseguisse entender o tom que deveria trazer e quais elementos fariam sentido estar na capa. Assim, pude desenvolver as histórias que estão no livro.
Um dos maiores desafios foi escolher qual história ganharia mais foco, ou como criar uma ilustração que pudesse casar e envolver todas as narrativas apresentadas no livro.
E com isso, temos em foco maior, o gato e os cigarros em direção ao planeta. Mostrando de forma sólida que esses são os universos principais dessa coletânea de contos.

After a few months of brainstorming, I managed to understand how this cover should be conducted. The minimalist illustrations that tell pieces of the stories with a flat graphic style. It translates its fluid and interesting essence from the book.
Thinking of the squares as passages of time was the key turning point for me to understand the tone I should bring and what elements would make sense to be on the cover. Thus, I was able to develop the stories that are in the book.
One of the biggest challenges was choosing which story would gain more focus, or how to create an illustration that could marry and involve all the narratives presented in the book.
And with that, we focus more on the cat and cigarettes towards the planet. Solidly showing that these are the main universes of this collection of short stories.
